Job Description
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
- bachelors degree in computer science with CIT or a masters degree
- at least one year of relevant work experience
- comprehensive knowledge of software development lifecycle
- comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance and functionality testing
- high level of expertise in microsoft office applications
- basic knowledge of uml design
- strong command of written and spoken english
- proficiency in flutter and dart
- strong understanding of mobile application development for both android and ios
- understanding of clean architecture and design patterns (mvvm bloc provider riverpod)
- experience with firebase (auth firestore cloud functions storage)
- exposure to offline-first applications or solutions for low-resource settings
- good knowledge of apis and cross-platform integration
- knowledge of ci/cd pipelines git and version control best practices
- familiarity with performance optimisation and debugging tools
- excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

The AKDN (Aga Khan Development Network) Digital Health Resource Centre (dHRC) is an initiative that leverages Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to improve healthcare access quality cost efficiency and safety particularly in low- and middle-income countries. It supports service delivery and research projects in Asia and Africa and focuses on building capacity for healthcare providers. The Innovation Lab within dHRC develops and tests low-cost high-impact health solutions.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- design build and maintain high-performance reusable and reliable Flutter code
- develop and support mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms
- integrate applications with APIs and ensure seamless cross-platform functionality
- assist in developing technology strategy based on available infrastructure and emerging technologies
- contribute to designing and developing solutions for low-resource settings
- collaborate with developers designers and subject matter experts to conceptualise design build test deploy and launch applications
- identify and resolve performance bottlenecks bugs and application issues using debugging tools
- ensure applications meet quality security and performance standards.
