Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Cargo Transportation Assistant to support our clients drivers with day-to-day delivery operations. This role ensures efficient transportation accurate deliveries and excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with company and DOT standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist driver with navigation route planning and communication with dispatch.
Verify delivery documentation packing slips and signatures.
Provide customer service at delivery sites ensuring professionalism and positive interaction.
Help maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any safety or mechanical issues.
Support the driver with safety checks including securing loads and monitoring traffic conditions.
Act as a second set of eyes for safety ensuring proper backing parking and maneuvering in tight areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse delivery or logistics experience a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
