Job Summary
Lock Desk Analyst Remote Mortgage Banking
An established mortgage banker with over 30 years of experience and licensing in 22 states is seeking a detail-oriented Lock Desk Analyst to join its remote team. This role supports Sales and Operations in executing lock transactions extensions amendments and pricing scenarios while ensuring policies are followed and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
Receive and process internal lock and change requests
Monitor lock expirations and communicate deadlines to sales staff
Manage extensions and lock amendments
Enforce company rate lock policy
Support Sales team with pricing scenarios
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investor programs and requirements
Maintain investor website and pricing engine user profiles
Assist management in evaluating and improving processes
Generate ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of secondary/lock desk experience in mortgage banking
Optimal Blue experience required
Encompass LOS experience required
Basic knowledge of secondary mortgage market pricing components and agency guidelines
Understanding of loan flows from origination to loan sale
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Servicing Post Closing or Shipping background is a plus
Bachelors degree in economics finance business or related field recommended
Compensation & Benefits
$28 $35 per hour depending on experience
Full benefits package (health dental vision 401k PTO)
