The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers (Experienced and Senior) to join our team in Daytona Beach FL. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
The roles will involve software development for tools and models within our simulation infrastructure in the Flight Simulation Labs organization. Selected candidates will be aligned to a statement of work that best suits their interests and skillset some of which could include:
Creating core simulation infrastructure to serve as a jumping-off point for programs developing flight simulation capabilities
Developing tools to simulate monitor and control digital messages between subsystems in a lab environment
support modeling of various aircraft capabilities including the ability to run constructive scenarios in a testing environment for development of our products and to support training efforts.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops documents and maintains architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs for software systems
Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
Supports development of simulation environments to supporting testing performed by Mission Systems engineers
Works on an agile team in order to accomplish team goals
Executes and documents software research and development projects
Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience as a Software Engineer
2 years of professional experience programming in C
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Master or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry
Experienced Level: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Senior Level: 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in the defense or avionics industry
Experience with requirements writing
Knowledge of basic networking principles
Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple concurrent activities
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Summary pay range for Experienced Engineer: $102850.00 - $139150.00.
Summary pay range for Senior Engineer: $123250.00 - $166750.00.
