The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Senior Engineer to help design and build the foundation for programmable capital markets. This is a versatile position where you ll work across backend frontend and blockchain systems based on your strengths and interests. You ll also have the opportunity to influence core product architecture in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect build and deliver production-grade features across the technology stack.

Partner with product design and business teams to translate complex financial and energy workflows into intuitive user-friendly software.

Contribute to backend services web applications and where applicable the smart contract layer.

Take ownership from prototype through deployment balancing speed and reliability.

Work closely with the CTO and other senior engineers in rapid feedback loops.
Qualifications
Required:
-
3 years of experience designing building deploying and maintaining production web applications or backend services.

Proficiency in Python or another server-side programming language.

Strong grasp of software architecture data modeling and cloud-native environments.

Proven ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

Self-motivated detail-oriented and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
Preferred/Bonus:
-
Familiarity with blockchain or DeFi systems.
-
Experience with Django.
-
Background in Google Cloud development.

Experience integrating AI technologies across the stack or into products.
-
Passion for climate innovation financial systems or the future of infrastructure.
