Day-to-day tasks:
- Studies the software application domain prepares software requirements and specification documents.
- Liaises between the software users and the software developers.
- Conveys the demands of software users to the developers including general system design coordination of changes and unit and integration testing of programs as well as guidance and mentoring of other staff.
- Skills include but not limited to the following: working knowledge of software technology; computer programming experience/expertise; general business knowledge; problem solving/reduction skills; interpersonal relation skills; flexibility and adaptability.
Software Analyst: ITS Human Services Portfolio WRTS and RFI Section Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer project (SEBT)

Expert 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
- 84 months experience managing teams comprising representatives from multiple organizations from development through to a complete production implementation of all software and hardware tasks.
- 84 months experience with teams comprising representatives from multiple organizations in the development through complete implementation of multi-year application development and infrastructure projects. Experience with standard Business Analyst tools and best practices.
- 60 months of experience developing and documenting sophisticated multi-disciplinary infrastructure rollout projects in a government environment utilizing best practices in system life cycle methodologies and working directly with cross-agency staff to implement projects.
- 24 months of experience in effective team building facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to work and communicate with diverse groups.
- College level Degree in a business or technology discipline.
