Job Summary

Travel- Sterile Processing Technician (Contract Role)

Location: Burlington MA 01805

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days M F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $1120 - $1280; (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Decontaminate clean inspect assemble and sterilize surgical instruments trays and equipment.
Operate and monitor sterilization equipment including autoclaves washers and ultrasonic cleaners.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols infection control standards and manufacturer instructions.
Conduct quality checks on instrument trays and surgical sets for accuracy and cleanliness.
Prepare surgical case carts and deliver them to appropriate areas.
Monitor and maintain inventory of sterile supplies and instruments.
Follow proper storage procedures for sterile and non-sterile equipment.
Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Participate in on-call rotation weekend shifts and holiday coverage as required.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Sterile Processing or Central Processing Department (CPD).
Certification:
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST CBSPD or equivalent) required
Preferred:
- Previous travel/contract experience
