Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional performance and environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies.
Assist in developing test procedures test plans and documentation for new and existing products.
Operate and maintain lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators spectrum analyzers and multimeters.
Record and analyze test data to identify trends issues or performance concerns.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures or product defects.
Work closely with design manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain detailed and accurate test records logs and reports.
Follow safety and ESD protocols in the lab environment.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic circuit identification and troubleshooting electrical analysis ability to us a multimeter
Electrical and electronic principles: Understanding of circuit analysis electronics and electrical systems.
Measurement and testing: Familiarity with measurement instruments testing equipment and methodologies.
Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve problems with test equipment and systems.
Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit principles.
Familiarity with reading schematics datasheets and test documentation.
Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment in a lab or academic setting.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated test systems or scripting languages (e.g. Python LabVIEW MATLAB).
Exposure to PCB-level debugging and soldering/rework techniques.
Knowledge of product compliance testing (EMC safety thermal).
Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and test fixtures.
Understanding of industry standards (IPC ISO MIL-STD etc.).
