Job Summary
We have a 1-Year 100% remote Technical Lead contract that may be extended by our client for up to another 5 years. The anticipated start is November 1 2025.
The Technical Lead provides hands-on leadership and oversight in the design development and implementation of IT systems. This role ensures the technical integrity and scalability of solutions by guiding architecture development practices and integration efforts. The Technical Lead serves as the bridge between business analysis and software engineering ensuring that business requirements are translated into robust technical solutions. The Technical Lead is responsible for mentoring developers maintaining coding and architectural standards and resolving technical challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design analysis and architecture of IT solutions.
- Provide direction to development teams on coding testing and integration practices.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to align requirements with technical solutions.
- Identify risks issues and technical challenges providing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of technical components.
- Support knowledge transfer mentoring and organizational change management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in IT/Engineering (or equivalent of 9 years of experience).
- 5 years technical analysis system design and architecture experience.
- 3 years in a technical lead role overseeing IT system development.
- Strong knowledge of IT integration development practices and testing.
- Experience in workload and stakeholder management.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Masters/Doctorate in IT/Engineering.
- 7 years technical design and architecture experience.
- 5 years as a technical lead on enterprise-level IT systems.
