Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Writer with strong experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems specifically Teamcenter. This role requires someone who understands PLM products from the business side and can translate complex processes into clear documentation training material and user guides. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders product managers and technical teams to create high-quality content that supports adoption and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create edit and maintain technical documentation for PLM systems and products (with emphasis on Teamcenter).

  • Work with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into user-friendly guides manuals and process documentation.

  • Develop training materials FAQs and knowledge base articles to support end users and business teams.

  • Document business processes workflows and use cases in alignment with PLM practices.

  • Collaborate with product managers solution architects and engineers to ensure content accuracy and clarity.

  • Ensure documentation meets style quality and accessibility standards across the organization.

  • Act as a bridge between business teams and technical experts to simplify and communicate PLM-related content.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Technical Communication Engineering or related field.

  • 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer with exposure to PLM systems.

  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter or other PLM tools.

  • Strong understanding of PLM from the business perspective (workflows processes and adoption).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira Confluence SharePoint).

  • Experience creating multimedia content (diagrams tutorials videos) for PLM training.

  • Knowledge of CAD/engineering processes linked with PLM systems.
