Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants on the inpatient hematology/bone marrow transplant team will work collaboratively as a part of a multidisciplinary team and operate with a high level of autonomy.In this role you will:
In addition you will provide educational support to patients and their families. You serve as mentors to fellow allied health professionals during their first year of practice. Additional opportunities to participate in research are available along with quality improvement projects. Professional growth opportunities include educating and precepting students poster and journal club presentations pursuing leadership and development through achieving academic rank as well as presenting at our APP Hematology/Oncology continuing education course.

During the OnDemand interview a question will appear on your screen and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current FL RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP ANP ACNP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the FL State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required.
