As a Documentation Management Specialist you will be responsible for documentation management label review and supplement fact panel creation. Assists R&D and Customer Operations in review of product claims obtaining supplier/manufacturer documents and maintaining raw material Item Form documents on company portal.

• Prepares reviews and coordinates workflow of raw material documentation relevant to product commercialization & label claims including but not limited to: Certifications (Organic Non-GMO Halal Kosher Vegetarian Vegan etc.) Allergen statements TSE/BSE statements Irradiation statements Country of Origin Composition statement Nutrition information Raw Material Specification Finished Product Specifications Bulk labels Customer forms DSHEA or NLEA-compliant labels documents/forms as requested by management etc.
• Reevaluates existing processes looks for improvement opportunities develops and implements new process workflows updates and automates templates to improve efficiency of deliverables (Documentation requests/updates Label review SFPs and BF Portal Item maintenance Specifications etc.) in a timely manner. Proactively follows up with suppliers/vendors and regularly provides management updates.
• Writes/Revises Standard Operation Procedures or Job Instructions for R&D functional processes of documentation management specialist.
• Actively adheres to service level agreements for deliverables set by management. Escalates roadblocks where necessary to assure deliverables are met.
• Escalates issues upon notification by providing detailed information outlining the situation/materials and a proposed solution if available.
• Assists in reviewing customer-supplied product labels to ensure alignment to formulation and/or specifications and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
• Perform other job duties related to the job as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Food Science Chemistry Pharmacy or other relevant science is desirable (Four-year college or university degree is preferred); plus.
• Three (3) or more years of work experience in Nutraceutical Food Pharmaceutical or related industries; or
• Any combination of experience education and training that provides the level of knowledge skills and experience needed to successfully perform the job.

Work Environment:

• May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy Wheat Fish Shellfish Milk Egg Tree Nuts and Sesame.

This position is currently classified as on-site.

Base Salary Range: $21.00 25.00 per hour based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401(k) Holidays Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including but not limited to location skills education and experience.
