Information specific to this position: Multiple positions available for various locations.
The Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) branch is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors to support after-school academic and enrichment clubs at designated Title I and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) sites for the Fall 2025 session. Program schedules will vary depending on the assigned site and the types of clubs offered will be based on each instructors experience skills and interests. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by engaging students in hands-on fun and purposeful learning experiences outside the traditional classroom.
Fall 2025 Program Dates:
- Blevins and Irish: September 15 December 11 2025
- Bauder Harris Laurel Linton PCA and Putnam: September 29 November 20 2025
Site Locations & Weekly Schedules:
- Bauder Elementary Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30 PM 5:30 PM
- Blevins Middle School Monday through Thursday 2:15 PM 5:15 PM
- Harris Elementary Mondays & Wednesdays 2:15 PM 4:15 PM
- Irish Elementary Monday through Thursday 3:30 PM 5:30 PM
- Laurel Elementary Mondays & Wednesdays 2:15 PM 4:15 PM
- Linton Elementary Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30 PM 5:30 PM
- PCA Monday through Thursday 3:15 PM 5:15 PM
- Putnam Elementary Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:00 PM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:$22/hour
Hours/day:2-3 hours/ 2 - 4 days per week
Work calendardays: Varied
Duration of position:One Semester Only
Benefits include: PERA retirement paid time off
*Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to PSD (existing employees please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule). PSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process.
