Job Description:
This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position within the Logistics organization. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a production environment. The qualified candidate will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Customers Production areas and onsite Calibration Lab personnel. Candidates will be responsible for tool & inventory management tool box software management tracking items due for calibration and communicating with end users to ensure there are no gaps in service or availability.
Candidates must possess an attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is for an individual contributor however candidates will support personnel across multiple shift assignments as well as multi-level management. Candidates will work independently and as a group/team.
Essential Functions:
Experience within a production environment including material handling
Ability to communicate with multiple levels of employees including management
Ability to track equipment within various software systems and coordinate with departments/supplier to ensure timely status updates
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft software
Proficient in use of computers and electronic processing systems
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong communication skills
Computer experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Ability to navigate software system to track equipment information
Ability to determine and resolve discrepancies
Time management skills
