Job Summary

MSIM Private Markets Distribution is seeking an experienced sales professional with strong institutional relationships and a track record of success raising assets for Private Market strategies in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of alternative products private credit private equity real estate infrastructure and hedge funds and a proven track record of success in direct sales and client coverage.
Responsibilities

  • Direct European Institutional client coverage in Sweden with a core focus on private market vehicles.
  • Identifying and qualifying new prospects developing leads and driving direct client engagement with a goal of increasing institutional AUM across private market strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships and drive collaboration with the individual Investment Teams and the MSIM Alternatives Consultant Coverage team.
  • Master obtain and retain detailed knowledge of various investment strategies and the insight to establish opportunities for selling the suite of MSIM alternative products.

Requirements

  • Proven asset raiser in the Nordic particularly Swedish institutional market place with deep knowledge of Swedish landscape particularly on private market investing.
  • Proven track record in fund raising across private credit private equity real estate infrastructure and hedge funds.
  • Deep knowledge of investor base AP Funds insurers such as AMF/AFA/Alecta
  • A history of commercial success driving private market sales distribution product or client engagement with sophisticated asset owners across European public and private pension funds corporates endowments/foundations and insurance companies.
  • Superior investment and markets acumen with the ability to synthesize distill and articulate alternative investment strategies straightforwardly and drive a holistic portfolio and market-level discussion with institutional clients.
  • Market awareness with the ability to obtain and retain detailed knowledge of various investment strategies as well as the insight to establish opportunities for selling a suite of alternative products.
  • A growth orientation with an adaptive agile personality who sees possibilities in shifting demands and opportunity sets presented in the marketplace with the ability to inspire others to see the same.
  • Culture carrier with high EQ; a humble self-reflective open-minded thinker who possesses a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
