The Lost Prevention Specialist at Nebraskaland is responsible for overseeing and enforcing security policies to ensure a secure work environment for employees visitors and company assets. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential hazards or security threats.
- Investigate security incidents and policy violations document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee access control surveillance systems and alarm monitoring to prevent unauthorized entry and theft.
- Collaborate with HR and management to address security concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents inspections and employee training.
- Assist in developing and updating security policies as needed.
- Assist Safety Manager with investigations and ensure safety is always followed.
- Prior experience in security safety or risk management preferably in a warehouse logistics or transportation environment.
- Strong leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in incident reporting risk assessments and security compliance documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to respond to incidents promptly and effectively.
- Proficient in computer systems with knowledge in Microsoft office and data analysis to support investigations identify trends and improve loss prevention strategies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; not required but a plus
