Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of fundamental credit research through the credit training program that concludes with a presentation to members of the investment team.
Provide support to the existing credit research team including but not limited to updating financial models and other ad hoc research requests.
Assist in the coverage of a small universe of companies including the analysis of earnings news financials and other relevant information.
Maintain spreadsheets and databases that support the investment process.
Complete projects to further enhance the overall credit research process.
This would be your future internship because you:
Are currently enrolled full-time at a college or university pursuinga bachelors degree (Finance Business Administration Economics orAccounting major preferred).
Have familiarity with financial statement analysis.
Exhibit strong written & verbal communications communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Are detailed-oriented.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Bloomberg.
