Job Summary

Job Description:

The Department of Englishs award-winning Core Writing Program invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors in Rhetoric and Composition starting in January 2026. The selected candidates may teach up to two 3-credit sections of ENGL 1001 (Introduction to Rhetoric and Composition). There is also a possibility of renewal of the position depending on needs and funding.

Requirements:Masters degree or higher in Rhetoric and Composition Writing Studies or English. Demonstrated excellence in teaching first-year writing.

Knowledge of Writing about Writing and Writing Across the Curriculum pedagogiesishighly desirable.
