WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Prototype Engineering Intern to join our team for Fall 2025 (September to December). Ideal candidates are eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and fabrication environment. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who prefer active on-your-feet work over a traditional desk role. Were looking for candidates interested in a full-time immersive internship experience at an innovative and rapidly growing startup.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Collaborate closely with our team of Engineers and Engineering Technicians to support ongoing projects.
• Develop hands-on experience in fabricating and reworking prototype components.
• Receive training in welding metal stamping and the operation of various manufacturing equipment.
• Gain practical experience with industry-standard tools and software including CATIA Polarion (for project management) and CANalyzer.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Orion MI five days per week.
• Strong interest in gaining or expanding hands-on experience in a fabrication and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
