Department: Che Figata Reports to:Sous Chef & Chef De Cuisine Status:Hourly Non-Exempt Compensation Range:$18.00-23.00/hour commensurate with experience and education. Age Requirements: Must be 18 Role Summary: Line Cook 3 is responsible for pantry station plating learning prep and production methods and developing in the kitchen as member of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist cooks 1 and 2 in the preparation of foods according to guests orders or supervisors instructions following approved procedures.
- Ability to complete basic prep tasks as well as master 1 station.
- Preps food for service in accordance with established standardized recipes.
- Sets up station and ensures that the work area is operated in an efficient manner.
- Follows recipes portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the management.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Supports all training of other staff members as needed.
- Informs supervisor of any kitchen equipment or machinery that is not working properly.
- Properly stores food in designated containers and areas according to health department guidelines.
- Assists in the cleaning sanitation and organization or kitchen walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
- Follows all Che Figata departmental policies and procedures.
- Performs all related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: - High school diploma or equivalent education.
Experience: - 6 months basic culinary experience passion for cooking or any culinary school experience
- Knowledge of safety sanitation and food handling procedures. Ability to obtain food handlers certificate.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Italian Experience a Plus.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must have a neat and clean appearance and uniform.
