Physical Therapist LTC/SNF - Travel Position
Location: Kinston NC

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s Days
Pay: $2035/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Kinston NC on a travel contract. The Physical Therapist will evaluate residents create individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy services designed to improve mobility restore function and enhance independence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented patient-centered and experienced in geriatric rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess functional abilities mobility and therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including strengthening balance gait training and mobility exercises.
- Educate residents families and caregivers on therapy goals safety techniques and use of assistive equipment.
- Document patient evaluations progress and treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Promote resident safety independence and quality of life through evidence-based therapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina (or compact license).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong communication clinical and organizational skills.
- Compassionate approach with experience supporting geriatric patients.
