Description
Devereux is one of the nations largest nonprofit organizations providing services insight and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare. Devereux-Arizona serves more than 4000 individuals with emotional behavioral and cognitive differences each year across the state. We offer residential treatment short-term residential treatment a private school community-based services integrated care services prevention programs respite services and therapeutic foster care.
Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager the Contract & Credentialing Specialist is responsible contract development contract management negotiations compliance monitoring and credentialing providers and facilities. This position develops and manages assigned agreements/contracts that clearly describe the services being purchased. Other duties include conducting cost and price analyses for contracted services and working with finance leadership to ensure costs are allowable reasonable and necessary.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with evenings and weekends as required
Hybrid Work Enviornment: remote (home office) and in-office days

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
Minimum high school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelors Degree in finance healthcare administration or related field preferred
One (1) year of healthcare revenue contracting finance provider relations or realted experience preferred
OTHER:
- Valid Arizona Drivers License & pass DMV 36-month history check
- Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
- Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment
- Must be available to attend new hire orientation (paid Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) plus on the job training
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). Arizona Revised Statutes Notice (ARS 36-411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a persons employment record contains a six-month or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
