Job Summary
The Perryman Company is looking for an enthusiastic motivated summer intern to join our Quality and Metallurgy team.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with metallurgical staff to complete lab and mill related projects.
- Gain experience in inspecting and testing titanium material.
- Assist with failure analyses and/or customer concerns.
Requirements
- In process of obtaining a degree in metallurgy materials science or related engineering field.
- Mechanical aptitude and the desire to perform hands on projects.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to write clear technical reports.
- Detail oriented.
- Able to follow instructions both verbal and written and the ability to question instructions if not clear.
- Desire to pursue a career in metallurgy.
