Job Summary
Housekeeping for Boutique Luxury Hotel - Hablamos Spanish
DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Enjoys cleaning and is detailed
- Ability to take initiative and work without close supervision
- Stay productive and complete rooms timely
- Be careful handling cleaning materials safely
- Assist other staff as needed
- Occasionally assist guests fulfillingrequests and supplies
- Maintain a good relationship with front desk staff and housekeeping
- Be able to follow emergency procedures
- Warmly interact with all guests including inpublic areas and while completing guest requests
- Responsible for providing exemplary customerservice in a friendly and professional manner
- Full understanding of emergencies procedure
- Promoting safety by being alert to observecorrect and report any safety hazards immediately
- Clean and maintain the appearance of thesurrounding areas of the hotel including removing debris or trash from ground if found
- Report all maintenance issues in rooms and public areas
- Remove dirty laundry from rooms replace it and make rooms
- Assist with other duties as needed andrequested
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- PREFERRED housekeeping experience in high quality hotel or service environment
- Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods. Occasionally bend.
- Be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Personable and enjoy dealing with the public
- Pleasant and helpful personality
- Able to meet all scheduling requirements timely
- Able to anticipate needs of guests in their rooms and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail and directions
- Must pass a background check

EDUCATION:
- High School or equivalent.
LANGUAGE:
- English (Spanish also is highly desirable and helpful)
