Job Description
The College of Education and Human Development is seeking a part-time non-tenure track adjunct faculty member will prepare for and co-teach with a university facultys assigned classes in the field of educational administration following a syllabus guideline maintain appropriate records report needed data to the department and complete all necessary professional development modules assigned by the University. The candidate will teach face-to-face graduate level students in a district-based cohort model.
Required Education and Experience:
Possess a masters degree or higher in educational leadership or a closely related field.
18 graduate credit hours in educational leadership.
Be a current employee in North East ISD Northside ISD or Comal ISD.
Be available to teach evenings during the week.
Provide a positive recommendation from a district level administrator in North East ISD Northside ISD or Comal ISD.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in the field of Educational Leadership from a regionally accredited institution or a closely related field with at least 18 hours in Educational Leadership.University will credential each applicant.
Previous experience in training or providing professional development for educators.
Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting.
