What is the role

Technical Assistant Bradken Chilca

We are seeking a Technical Assistant responsible for supporting theexecution of the maintenance program (preventive predictive and condition-based/conservative) as well as breakdown response. You will be a key member of the maintenance team contributing to the continuous improvement of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in the foundry.

Your work will keep machinery operating without unplanned stops ensure reliable repairs meet daily maintenance work orders and support improvement projects. You will also help developwork instructions aligned with EH&S policies and propose improvements to increase equipment reliability.

The role also includes participating inroot cause analysis and in continuous improvement groups aligned with Bradkens strategic priorities.
You are responsible collaborative and able to meet deadlines. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential to ensure safe efficient high-quality maintenance.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Technical degree in Mechanical Maintenance.
    No prior experience required (ideal for early-career professionals).
    Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation machine assembly/disassembly and precision mechanics.
    Ability to solve technical problems with the capability to assist and guide others.
    Reside in Chilca or nearby areas (preferred).
