Job Summary
Career Opportunity: RN Intensive Care Nurse (ICU)
Location: Cooperstown NY 13326
Duration: 13 Weeks Possible Extension
Work Schedule: 36 hours/week Night shifts (3x12s)
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced ICU RN to provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting. The role requires strong assessment skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver intensive monitoring for patients with life-threatening cardiac respiratory and multi-organ conditions
- Care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced oxygen therapies
- Manage invasive lines (arterial central) and hemodynamic monitoring
- Support post-surgical patients with complex recovery needs
- Provide safe medication administration and critical interventions
- Maintain accurate timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the critical care team
Qualifications
- ASN in Nursing required
- Active RN license in NY State
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
- ICU experience required (minimum 1 year staff or travel)
