Job description

Woodston Personnel are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join the multidisciplinary pediatric department at a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia. The Consultant will provide specialized diagnostic interventional and therapeutic cardiac care for neonates infants children and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart conditions.

Duties and Responsbilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac conditions

  • Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostics including ECG echocardiography (transthoracic and transesophageal) cardiac MRI/CT and Holter monitoring

  • Participate in and/or perform interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

  • Collaborate closely with pediatric cardiac surgeons intensivists anesthesiologists and other subspecialties for comprehensive cardiac care

  • Manage inpatient and outpatient services including preoperative and postoperative cardiac care

  • Participate in the development and review of clinical protocols guidelines and quality assurance programs

  • Teach and supervise residents fellows and medical students

  • Participate in oncall schedules and multidisciplinary cardiac team meetings

  • Engage in research activities audits and continuous medical education

Job requirements

  • Valid and current medical license or eligibility for licensure in Saudi Arabia

  • MUST HAVE postgraduate qualification specialist training as follows: American Board (US) FRCS (Irish UK Canadian Australian or New Zealand) Diplme dtudes Spcialises (DES) / CIS French Board Facharzt (Germany or equivalent) with recognised Subspecialty Certification Recognized Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology

  • Minimum 3 4 years postboard/fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology

  • Excellent clinical/ technical skills in his/ her specialty.

  • Knowledge of Arabic.
