Job Title: Network Engineer -II (Hybrid)
Location: Madison WI
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
IT Professional that works in a team responsible for facilities-based systems including but not limited to surveillance door control building automation and telecommunication. This work will primarily work in all aspects of network design planning installation and support of the aforementioned systems including supporting desktop PCs servers network devices storage solutions and surveillance-specific equipment. Engineer install configure maintain and monitor multiple state-wide networks as well as mitigating issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates. Work is performed at the agencys nearly 200 locations state-wide including the agencys many secure sites often independently. Delegation and improvisational skills creativity adaptability and strong troubleshooting skills required. Day travel is also required and long days are common. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
