Job Description
Job Title: Junior Maintenance Assistant
Location: Midrand Johannesburg
A leading company is looking for a Junior Maintenance Assistant with a background in racking shelving and general maintenance to join their team in Midrand Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and hands-on professional to support the maintenance team and ensure the operational efficiency of the facility. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of racking and shelving systems.
- Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Support senior maintenance staff in various projects and daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- A background in racking shelving and general maintenance.
- No prior experience with ammonia is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical hands-on approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
