TGM Operations Manager supports the regions Healthcare sales team to define customer specific service work scopes based on contractual obligations and manages the implementation process for new accounts. The Manager of TGM will help the Director of TGM Services collectively analyze key business metrics in order to report and present findings to the VP of Medical Sales regarding the overall stability of the core business model. A key part of the process involves overseeing up to 20 technicians from north Los Angeles to San Diego and the Inland Empire meeting with customers operations sales and other support organizations to shepherd development and communicate the merits and features of the TGM program.Pay Range: $75000-$90000 DOE
- Southern California based
- Some overnight travel required
- Implementing and managing the Airgas Safety Management System across assigned team and customer sites with the goals of zero accidents and zero injuries.
- Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities- Essential Job Functions and physical demands of the TGM Technician Role.
- Managing and directing technician team to deliver committed results to the assigned TGM customer base
- Developing and maintaining team scheduling and team vacation time for assigned customer sites
- Providing vacation coverage as needed for assigned team.
- Supervise and develop the staff through goal-setting evaluations positive feedback discipline and on-going coaching
- Managing operating expenses of the team within annual budget parameters
- Collaborating with Director of TGM and assigned Airgas account manager to deliver regular customer business reviews
- Implementation of new TGM product and service offers to assigned customer base including presentations and data packages to support new offers
- Collaboration with Director of Medical Gas Services on new hires to support TGM site and customer expansion within assigned geographic area.
- Timely submission of all required safety payroll and associate paperwork for the assigned team.
- Additional duties required to service customer or operational requirements.

Required Education:
- Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university and/or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Length & Type of Experience: Solid time management and organizational skills
- Broad operational knowledge of Airgas processes and product mix
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Experienced with SAP Software
- Solid computer skills (i.e. Google Drive Apps Drive Docs Sheets Slides Database programs)
- Project Management experience preferred
- Team player with the ability to manage by influence
- Collaboration and delegation skills
- Ability to set goals self motivate and assist others to achieve set goals
