Position Overview:
We are hiring an experiencedCertified Welding Inspectorto join a quality-focused team in Tulsa. TheCertified Welding Inspectorwill be responsible for ensuring all welding activities comply with applicable codes standards and project requirements through visual and NDT inspections. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong welding code knowledge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with AWS ASME API and project specifications
Conduct and interpret results from NDT methods such as magnetic particle dye penetrant ultrasonic or radiographic testing
Review WPS PQRs and Welder Performance Qualifications for accuracy and code compliance
Document and report inspection findings and issue non-conformance reports when needed
Collaborate with welders engineers and supervisors to resolve issues and ensure high standards of quality and safety
TheCertified Welding Inspectorwill be expected to monitor job sites or shop floors for quality adherence and provide feedback

Required Skills & Experience:
35 years of hands-on welding inspection experience in industrial or fabrication environments
Deep understanding of AWS/ASME welding codes metallurgy and various NDT techniques
Strong skills in reading blueprints welding symbols and technical drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication
TheCertified Welding Inspectormust be capable of managing multiple inspections independently and accurately

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable navigating fabrication shops and yard environments
Frequent climbing bending standing crouching and maneuvering on ladders or scaffolding
