Job Summary
Direct Support Professional Community Habilitation
Full-Time Part Time Opportunities!
Arc of Onondaga is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) providing Community Habilitation services to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This role focuses on fostering independence skill development community exploration and meaningful relationships through personalized one-on-one or small group support.
Community Habilitation includes a wide range of activities which include: assisting with errands exercising outdoors developing financial management skills participating in leisure activities engaging in volunteer work and more.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid NYS drivers license and reliable vehicle (expected/required to be used during service hours)
Passion for empowering individuals with disabilities
Positive proactive approach to skill-building and community engagement
