Job Summary

Position Overview:
Supervise students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade during their lunch and recess timesin order to create a safe welcoming and positive environment for our students.

At the lunch tables:

Assist students with lunchtime needs (e.g. opening containers packaging etc.)
Encourage respectful and positive interactions among students
Support calm and considerate behavior during mealtime
Monitor and ensure the safety of all students

On the playground:

Supervise student play to ensure safety and inclusion
Promote sharing following playground rules and positive peer relationships
Intervene when necessary to guide students toward safe and respectful play
