Address: 933 E. Pierce St. - Council Bluffs IA

Work Schedule: Rotating. 40 hours per week.

To provide health assessment and improve or manage the general medical care of patients. CRNAs will be covering the hospital and surgery center with a primary case mix consisting of urology GI endoscopy ortho ophthalmology general surgery and ob/gyn.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

  • Masters in Nurse Anesthesia required.


Experience

  • Experience in area of practice preferred.


License/Certifications

  • Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license valid compact multistate license or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required.

  • APRN - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist () or ARNP - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist () required.

  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire required within 3 months of hire.

  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

  • Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with patients family members and hospital personnel/coworkers.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to utilize critical thinking skills to manage problems determine best course of action and effect change.

  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery electronic patient records and quality/safety protocols.
