Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Processor to join their team. This role is responsible for managing a loan pipeline from submission through closing and post-closing ensuring accuracy compliance and timely processing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with FHA VA and Conventional loans a deep understanding of guidelines and the ability to calculate income and structure loans properly.
Responsibilities
Manage a pipeline of multiple loans from initial submission to closing and post-closing
Process FHA VA and Conventional loans (USDA a plus) with accuracy and efficiency
Apply knowledge of RESPA HMDA and TRID to ensure compliance
Calculate income and structure loans in accordance with investor guidelines
Work closely with Loan Officers leadership and wholesale account executives
Assist with trailing and post-closing documentation as needed
Qualifications
4 years of mortgage processing experience
Proficiency in Calyx software
In-depth knowledge of FHA VA Conventional guidelines (USDA a plus)
Candidate must have worked for a true correspondent or mini-correspondent lender in a Mortgage Processor role.
Working knowledge of RESPA HMDA and TRID regulations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Hours: MondayFriday 85 or 96 (40 hours per week)
Compensation
Base salary: $48000 annually
Structure: 1099 contractor role initially (no benefits)
After 2 months: will transition to full time w2
Exempt role (not eligible for overtime)
