Key Responsibilities:
- Leads troubleshooting and resolving equipment systems and process problems to prevent the occurrence of product and process non-conformances.
- Provides technical support for team members of all electronic systems i.e. eDHR MES.
- Understands and can communicate all processes and systems involved in the end-to-end process.
- Works closely with engineering teams when troubleshooting the equipment and processes.
- Provides peer leadership coaching coordinating scheduling monitoring communicating and problem solving for all line activities.
- Demonstrates ability to cover for Supervisor when required for non-supervisory activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Vocational Certificate Technical or associate degree emphasizing electro-mechanical PLC pneumatics or equivalent industrial experience is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional work experience
- Production experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility
- Green badge certification
- Proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook etc.)
- Excellent communication and social skills with proven ability to interact with multiple teams and work in cross-functional environments
- Experience using MES and eDHR
- Outstanding interpersonal skills both written and oral
- Ability to prioritize projects and tasks
Preferred:
- Solid understanding and troubleshooting skills in the following areas is required:
- Process improvement Line knowledge PLC systems electro/mechanical devices safety devices equipment installation debug and qualification control circuitry electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair production start-up.
Other:
- Continuous operations schedule Days 6am-6pm Nights 6pm-6am 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on 2 days off 3 days off 2 days on. This schedule includes working 2 weekends a month.
- No work-related travel required.
- Required Physical demands of the position include stooping walking pulling light lifting (up to 25 lbs.) grasping hearing visual acuity kneeling reaching pushing talking and standing.
