The University of Waikato is seeking an emerging scholar in management leadership strategy or Mori business to join our collegial and supportive academic this role youll develop a strong research programme that produces high-quality outputs engage in collaborations with academic and industry partners and enhance the Universitys national and international profile. Youll also contribute to postgraduate supervision and mentoring building a record of successful completions and play an active role in shaping debates that influence both practice and policy.
Alongside your research youll design and deliver engaging research-informed teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels helping to inspire and grow the next generation of leaders. As a valued member of our School and Division youll contribute to academic excellence collegiality and the professional development of students and peers while enjoying the opportunity to advance your own academic career in a vibrant and collaborative environment.
Salary will be in the range of $90125 to $107452per year based on skills knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week) based on our Tauranga Campus.

Youll be an emerging scholar with a PhD (or near completion) in Management Strategy Leadership or Mori Business with a growing research profile and a passion for teaching. You bring strong subject knowledge an ability to engage students in both large lectures and small group settings and the skills to supervise and mentor postgraduate students. Innovative and adaptable youre committed to research-informed teaching collaborative teamwork and developing impactful research that contributes nationally and internationally. A strong interest in Mori business and the ability to engage with diverse communities will be a distinct advantage.
