Lab Operations Supervisor

Are you ready to take your career to the next level Heres a great opportunity to do just that! The Lab Operations BioA team in Madison WI is recruiting an on-site Operations Supervisor.

As a Operations Supervisor you will perform a variety of duties which will include:

• Supervising a laboratory team conducting bioanalytical analysis in support of preclinical and clinical studies. Ensures scientific quality and client service targets are achieved.
• In addition independently performs activities related to scientific oversight of individual studies.
• Supports both directly and indirectly all aspects of the conduct of study activities. Maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
• May perform the duties of the roles they supervise
• Assists with routine client visits and regulatory audits as needed.
• Assists and/or addresses facility and/or process audits as needed
• Contributes to the establishment and monitoring of metrics to measure process performance
• Supports assists and may lead team or departmental process improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for assuring staff compliance to SOPs and other regulatory agency guidelines as applicable
• Reviews data as applicable.
• Promotes a cohesive team environment. Supports the supervisor and management team in training and mentoring
• Participates in project meetings plans monitors and guides project work.
• May interact with internal and external clients.
• Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

Operations Supervisors are the most successful at Labcorp with the following education / experience:

• Bachelors Degree (or higher) in a science field (biology chemistry etc.)

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years of experience performing Bioanalytical or relevant work experience.

• Supervisory Experience

• Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.

• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for specific area.

• Effective communication (verbal and written) presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of the drug development process regulatory requirements and the scientific techniques of Bioanalytical studies required.

Pay Range: $65-75k annually
