Are you ready to take your career to the next level Heres a great opportunity to do just that! The Lab Operations BioA team in Madison WI is recruiting an on-site Operations Supervisor.
As a Operations Supervisor you will perform a variety of duties which will include:
- Supervising a laboratory team conducting bioanalytical analysis in support of preclinical and clinical studies. Ensures scientific quality and client service targets are achieved.
- In addition independently performs activities related to scientific oversight of individual studies.
- Supports both directly and indirectly all aspects of the conduct of study activities. Maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
- May perform the duties of the roles they supervise
- Assists with routine client visits and regulatory audits as needed.
- Assists and/or addresses facility and/or process audits as needed
- Contributes to the establishment and monitoring of metrics to measure process performance
- Supports assists and may lead team or departmental process improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for assuring staff compliance to SOPs and other regulatory agency guidelines as applicable
- Reviews data as applicable.
- Promotes a cohesive team environment. Supports the supervisor and management team in training and mentoring
- Participates in project meetings plans monitors and guides project work.
- May interact with internal and external clients.
- Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
Operations Supervisors are the most successful at Labcorp with the following education / experience:
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in a science field (biology chemistry etc.)
3-5 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years of experience performing Bioanalytical or relevant work experience.
Supervisory Experience
Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for specific area.
Effective communication (verbal and written) presentation and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the drug development process regulatory requirements and the scientific techniques of Bioanalytical studies required.
Pay Range: $65-75k annually
