What You Will Do
Individual projects will vary but you can expect to solve challenging problems with applications that will power human progress. You wont be going it alone- youll be paired with a Senior Engineer to act as a mentor to guide you on your project. Collaborate with other Engineering team members on and off-project. Well have a series of social activities and learning events throughout the internship to learn about our company our culture and have some fun!
What You Need
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Preference given for students graduating in the 2025/2026 academic year
- Practical experience with electronics (disassembly component identification design (re)assembly etc.)
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics
- PCB & CAD layout experience a plus
- Preference for students with Power Electronics experience
- Ability to use AutoCAD or related software is advantageous
This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage headquarters in Hauppauge NY.
Our good faith estimate of the wage range for this role is $20.50 - $26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and other factors.
