The Battery Manufacturing Engineering team is opening new highways with our next-generation propulsion systems. In this position...

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist Battery Manufacturing Engineering to support and lead initiatives in automated material handling systems across our cell production line. This role will focus on implementation of conveyors elevators AGVs and ASRS systems. The candidate will oversee equipment installation commissioning and qualification during production ramp-up while resolving technical issues to ensure seamless handover to operation. Additionally the candidate will drive factory automation projects to improve material logistics efficiency and line availability.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Lead installation commissioning and qualification of automated material handling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production ramp-up for conveyors elevators AGVs and ASRS systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production line availability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop factory automation solutions for material loading unloading and logistics.
  • Support integration of new automation technologies into existing manufacturing systems.


Qualifications

Youll have

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • 5 years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Knowledge on automated Material Handling Systems (e.g. Conveyors AGV ASRS)
  • Experience on facility layout planning and optimization
  • Experience on project management including budget and schedule

Even better you may have...

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • 7 years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Knowledge on CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge on PLC programming basics
  • Knowledge on material flow simulation using software (e.g. FlexSim)
