Salary: $61987 - $118388 Depending on Education and Experience
Position Summary
Overlake School is hiring a Leave Replacement Upper School Science Teacher for this current fall semester whose responsibilities will include teaching three sections of 9th grade biology and one section of anatomy and physiology.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of science teaching experience at the secondary school level with an emphasis on biology an advanced degree in science and/or education and a passion for working with high school addition the successful candidate has worked collaboratively on curriculum and assessment and has a familiarity with the Next Generation Science Standards.

Teaching Responsibilities and Duties
Teach three sections of the 9th grade biology course Life on Our Planet and one sections of the Anatomy and Physiology elective; and hold office hours three times a week. Teachers are also required to attend meetings with the department the division and the whole faculty.
