Job Description
Silver Lake Middle School is seeking a long term substitute special education teacher anticipated to last for the month of October 2025.
Certification inSevereDisabilities is preferred.
Duties include: supporting students with language learning disabilities in a general education setting or sub-separate setting developing rigorous curriculum in ELA and Math that aligns with Mass Curriculum Frameworks teaching social pragmatics providing academic support within the LBLC and within inclusive settings co-teaching chairing annual IEP meetings writing IEPs completing progress notes communicating with caregivers and outside providers proctoring MCAS exams and other duties to be assigned by building administration.
Salary is $308.39 per day for the duration of the assignment.
