The Office Manager acts as the financial and administrative backbone of a $50M revenue business unit. This role oversees all financial controls reporting and administrative operations at the lab level.
The successful candidate will combine financial acumen with strong leadership skills to ensure accuracy efficiency compliance and accountability across all finance and administrative functions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
- Direct Lab administrative personnel including AR/AP payroll HR admin and reception.
- Ensure strong performance training and professional development across the admin team.
- Review Profit & Loss statements.
- Support WIP reporting revenue recognition and month-end close activities in coordination with corporate finance.
- Audit invoices for contract compliance; ensure accurate timely billing to clients.
- Acquire general knowledge about all Lab services provided.
- Provide timely accurate analysis of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Recommend cost-saving measures workforce efficiency improvements and process enhancements.
- Lead or assist in special projects audits and reporting initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration preferred.
- Managerial and Accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Track and myTrack invoicing systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expertise required); ERP/accounting systems experience preferred.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High integrity judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
