Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Greenville SC 29605
Duration: 3 Month Contract (Extendable)
Shift: Day 5x8 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27.20 (Travel) $22 (Local)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood draws specimen collection and processing while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role requires strong attention to detail technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture using syringe and vacutainer methods.
Collect and label specimens accurately in accordance with established protocols.
Provide appropriate post-venipuncture site care.
Process specimens for laboratory testing (centrifuge aliquot storage).
Utilize EPIC for patient data entry and documentation.
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and quality assurance standards.
Deliver compassionate and professional patient care.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required.
Must hold an active BLS (AHA) certification.
Proficiency in hospital-based phlebotomy and specimen collection.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Certifications & Licenses
Active Phlebotomy License (as required by state).
BLS AHA (mandatory).
