This role is part of the Organisational Development team which plays a key role within Social Security Scotlands People Services function designing and delivering learning activities across Social Security Scotland. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of colleagues in different roles across Social Security Scotland and other Scottish Government departments.
In this role you will develop and design the organisations portfolio of learning offerings by mapping flexible learning plans for new and existing colleagues across operational learning management capabilities and continuous development.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and delivery of the technical skills and behavioural learning that will support delivery of Scotlands devolved benefits in line with the Business Plan.

Technical / Professional Skills:
Project Management Applies project management approaches to deliver an activity or event. - Foundation Level
These technical skills will be assessment using the CIPD Profession Framework. Details can be found at CIPD Profession Map.
Experience:
Experience of designing and developing learning material using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 suite and video editing software in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.

Working pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location which will be either Glasgow or you have specific questions about the role you are applying for please contact us.

This role is only available to existing permanent civil servants who have successfully completed their probation period within Social Security Scotland or the broader Scottish Government.
