The Role:

Were looking for an experienced detail-focused Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to join our growing remote team. Youll be working on Australian clients and supporting the accounting team with end-to-end bookkeeping.

This is a role for someone who knows the ropes of Australian bookkeeping and is confident working independently but whos also happy to collaborate and grow with the team.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping using Xero (and occasionally MYOB or QuickBooks)
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Data entry from bank feeds source documents and client uploads
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • IAS and BAS preparation (reviewed and lodged by a senior accountant)
  • Journal entries and end-of-month adjustments
  • Assisting with payroll and STP filings
  • Supporting software migration from MYOB to Xero
  • Contributing to improved workflows and documentation
  • General admin support and ad hoc reconciliations

What Were Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an Australian public practice
  • Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping standards BAS/IAS and payroll
  • Confident with Xero (MYOB and QuickBooks knowledge is a bonus)
  • High attention to detail and ability to self-manage
  • Clear friendly communication skills written and spoken
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working remotely and handling multiple client files
