Job Description: As a Junior Lawyer the candidate will assist with contract drafting and review conduct legal research and support corporate governance activities. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of law in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and preparing clear concise analyses on various issues.
- Supporting corporate governance compliance and regulatory matters.
- Assisting with day-to-day legal operations and participating in ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- A Law degree (LLB or equivalent); admission to practice is considered an asset.
- A strong academic record and genuine interest in money laundering legislation compliance and maritime law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive detail-oriented mindset with the enthusiasm to thrive fast-paced environment.
