About the Role

We are hiring an Accountant to support the team in preparing financial information to the management and regulatory authorities that include financial accounting and reporting accounts payable accounts receivable audit and tax matters. As part of the Finance Team the successful candidate will report to and work closely with the regional head office finance team and management. This role will support the team in keeping financial records up-to-date and accurate management reporting and budgeting process as well as handling queries from internal and external stakeholders:

The successful candidate will:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations
• Prepare review and verify invoices & claims for accuracy and completeness before submitting them for approval
• Handle month end closing reports
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Assist with audits by providing necessary information and supporting documentation
• Ensure adherence to internal controls policies and procedures

Role Requirement

• Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent Professional Accounting Qualifications.
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in related field
• Strong understanding in full set of accounting functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
