Job Description
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at CGI office or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design and implement automated test scripts for UI and API testing using tools like Selenium Postman SOAP UI and GW GT Framework.
Collaborate with developers business analysts and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
Perform functional regression integration and performance testing across insurance applications.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery.
Validate data flow and business logic across Edge API Layer and digital portals.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures identify root causes and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Document test results defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Participate in test planning estimation and strategy discussions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5 years of experience in API & UI testing with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications.
Proficiency in Guidewire software.
Strong knowledge of API & UI testing tools (e.g. Selenium Postman SOAP UI GW GT Framework).
Experience with test automation planning and testing Familiarity with various scripting languages like JavaScript Python.
Experience in Java/J2ee (EJB Servlets JSP JDBC Web Services JMS JPA)
Experience with Edge API Layer and exposure to digital portal methodologies.
